According to a few articles I read, an Italian Priest is organizing a Nun beauty pageant online so Nun’s can get more exposure in the Catholic Church. It seems like to me, if Nun’s want more exposure maybe they should let them leave the convent a little more to do other things for the community. I don’t see how a Nun beauty pageant will benefit the church unless they are doing it to raise money for something.
The contest is called “Miss Sister 2008″ and the Nun’s will fill out a profile and provide a picture so people can vote for their favorite one. Priest Rungi said, “This will be an occasion to make their contribution more visible.” So I guess this is a pretty exciting time for the Nun’s since they probably don’t get to do interesting activities in the convent. Hopefully they will get some votes, so I will keep you posted on when this site is live and you can vote for your favorite Nun!

I thought you might find this interesting or scary, I know I did. I stumbled on to a few articles about a mobile microwave a company called Maplin is making in the UK. It runs off your 12V DC lighter in your car and you can cook any of your tasty treats on the go. Well you probably shouldn’t be microwaving anything on the go, but who would want to pull over to cook? People have a hard enough driving and talking on their cell phones, I can’t imagine someone trying to drive and cook. Lets hope this idea does not catch on.
You can purchase the 12V In-Car Microwave Here for 89 Euros, but what a small price to pay for cooking in your car right?
This could be a nice concept for “pimp-your-ride-ers”, maybe that is the perfect market for the portable microwave. With gaming systems, flat tv’s, mini-bars, being put in cars today why not have a portable microwave in your ride? People may not ever leave their cars again, especially since you can get a portable toilet as well. Read more about that at BBC News

In the spirit of the Olympics going on right now, I thought it would only be right for me to post something about them. Most people know the regular sports that are featured in the Olympic games, but what about the traditional sports that most of us do not know about? OK, maybe not traditional but they should be. Well, if you are curious enough to see these sports in action then watch the videos that follow.
Alright, I know why these aren’t featured at the Olympic games, although I think they would get a lot of attention. Don’t get me wrong I love the Olympics, but sometimes you have to poke fun a little! Go USA!
