As most of you know Thanksgiving is upon us and since I live in America and its such a popular holiday I thought I would post a little tribute to this day! Along with gaining 5 pounds it is nice to have a few extra days off of work, what about you? So with no further adieu lets start out by getting our appetites ready with these nicely done photoshop pictures that I found here:
There are a lot more great photos here thanks to Worth1000.com.
Aren’t you ready to eat some Thanksgiving dinner now? I have to give it to these talented photoshop artists, some of those pictures look way to real!
My last ode to Thanksgiving is how to go green for the holidays. There are many ways to go green at any time, but one of the best times to go green is during a holiday. So much waste is produced during the holiday seasons and if you use some of these tips you can be happy to know you helped reduce the environmental impact of the holidays!
Here are the first 5 very easy ways to go green for Thanks giving:
1. When shopping for thanksgiving take a re-usable bag for the groceries
2. Buy locally grown food
3. Find out where you can purchase organic fruits and vegetables
4. Use recycled plates, cups, and any other item used to eat with
5. Cook the right portion for your family size
Those are just a few tips from modernecohomes.com. I listed 5 tips, but there are actually a lot more so go to this link and check out the rest of the tips!
Well I hope you all have a nice holiday, I will be back next week to show you some more random weirdness of the world!

Wow, this is pretty awesome. At an oil digging site about a mile and a half underwater shell oil caught video and pictures of a giant alien squid. The species of squid is called Magnapinna and apparently a few have been found in the past, but this video is very fascinating. There are also pictures on the site you can check out!

You gotta read this. I found this a few days ago, thought I would share it with you. I am not sure if it is real, but who cares, its funny and that is all that matters. Here is the link
Here is a quick summary of what this is. Its an email sent back and forth from a guy who has a delinquent account and the bill collector emailing him back asking him to pay the money. Well the guy sends an email back offering them a drawing of a spider he did to compensate for the amount he owes. You should definitely read this if you want a good laugh.

According to physorg.com Taiwanese engineers developed a new wireless technology that makes WIFI and 3.5G cell phones speeds laughable. This new SoC design chip is 100 times faster than WIFI and 350 times faster than 3.5G and could possibly only cost $1 to make per chip in mass quantities.
The head of the project Professor Jri Lee of National Taiwan University (NTU) and UCLA PhD recently demonstrated the chip locally at NTU. According to physorg.com, “The system on a chip combines Front-End Circuits and an antenna array to reach the ultimate transmission speed.” The SoC chip was demonstrated at downloading a 4GB video in about 10 seconds which would take about 4.5 hours using a bluetooth device.
SoC stands for System-on-a-chip and If you are curious to what the SoC chip definition is check out this LINK at Wikipedia to find out.
